Basic Obedience Lessons

Behavior Modification Lessons

Each private lesson is one hour long and may include a discussion of behavioral or training concerns, an active training session teaching or proofing commands, or a combination of both.

This program is designed to address behavioral issues related to anxiety, reactivity, and/or aggression. We will help you develop a management plan specific to your dog’s behavioral issues.

Commands Taught: Come, Sit, Down, Place, Heel (Loose-Leash Walking), Off

Therapy or Canine Good citizen (CGC) development lessons

8 Lessons + Cerification Test

$1,600

Each private lesson is one hour long and may include a discussion of behavioral or training concerns, an active training session teaching or proofing commands, or a combination of both.

This program is designed to prepare you and your dog for their Therapy Evaluation or CGC Test.

Commands Taught: Come, Sit, Down, Place, Heel (Loose-Leash Walking), Off

Therapy Certification Offered Through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Certification is Offered Through the The American Kennel Club (AKC).

Lessons must be paid in full before scheduling.

about Our Private Lesson Programs

Work one-on-one with our trainers

Private Training Lessons are a great option if you want to be involved in the training process with your dog. These programs will teach you how to train your dog. Each lesson will focus on your training goals and will provide you with ways to address your dog’s particular training needs. We will teach you how to motivate and communicate with your dog while building engagement and a stronger relationship. As balanced trainers, we provide you with several options to communicate with your dog and will help you find which option(s) are best for you and your dog. All lessons are one-on-one with our experienced trainers.

How It Works

Where do lessons take place?

Lessons take place at our training facility located in downtown Belgrade. If appropriate, training can also occur at a park, store, or downtown once your dog has completed their basic obedience program. Please understand that specific commands and behavioral concerns will be easier and more effective to address in particular environments. Your trainer will let you know about the best progressions for your dog as they get to know them better.

How often are lessons scheduled?

We recommend scheduling lessons one to two weeks apart. While the frequency of your training is entirely up to you, it is best to schedule regularly, as this will allow your trainer to periodically check in on the progression of your dog’s training and answer any questions you have.
