Dogs require exposure during training in order to build consistency and reliability with their obedience. We find this to be one of the biggest challenges with trying to do everything yourself at home. With our board & train program, your dog will benefit from training in a home environment as well as public and realistic environments. We aim to develop a dog who is obedient and confident and whose training can translate to anyone, anywhere.
At the end of the board & train program, your dog will have learned better social skills towards people, dogs, and their environment. You will see improvements in your dog’s specific issues and overall obedience. Before your dog goes home, you will receive a private training session to ensure you, as the owner, leave with the proper tools and knowledge to set your dog up for success.

When learning new habits and behaviors, dogs need consistency. Our board & train program is an immersive style training program for dogs ages five months and up. This program will give your dog the structure and consistency with their training to succeed.
We tailor each dog’s training depending on their needs and motivators. Our Board & Train Focuses on, but is not limited to:
- Foundational Obedience Training [sit, down, place, heel, off, recall]
- Behavior Modification [anxiety & aggression]
- Off Leash Dog Training
How it works
Our Board & Train is an immersive style program. Your dog will board and train with one of our professional trainers in their home. This style of training allows us to teach skills in a way that translates seamlessly into your home environment.
We will help your dog learn reliable on and off-leash obedience in and out of the home. Your dog will be trained in real-world environments, including stores, parks, and town settings. Our program provides training around the types of distractions and stimulation your dog will experience to ensure the structure and obedience we teach translates directly to real life.
During training, you will receive a daily report and video to stay informed on your dog’s progress.
Once training is over, we will spend 2-3 hours reviewing what your dog has learned during their training with us. We call this a “turnover.” This owner training session will include the following:
- Learning About Motivations and Rewards
- Learning and Giving New Commands and How to Communicate with Clarity
- How to Correct Unwanted Behaviors & Reinforce and Reward Desired Behavior
- Learning How to Stay in Control and Communicate With Your Dog

This type is training is ideal for an owner and dog pair that isn’t located in the immediate Bozeman area. We have worked with dogs from all over the state, including but not limited to Helena, Missoula, and Billings, for example.
Once training is over, we will spend 2-3 hours reviewing what your dog has learned during their board and train program. We call this a “turnover.” This owner training session will include the following:

The Puppy Board & Train Program Is ONLY For Puppies Age 10 Weeks to 5 Months. The adult 2 Week Board & Train will be scheduled for when your dog is 5 Months or older. If your dog is already older than 5 Months, please look at our 3 or 4 Week Board & Train Programs.

At the completion of the program, the owner will receive a 2-3 hour lessons training session + 2 one-hour (scheduled after completion of Board & Train Program) to learn the skills their dog has learned and how to maintain their training at home. Additional training is $160 per day or $1,100 per week. All training collars are included in our pricing.
