Sara & Sam Ernst
Owners & Trainers
You will often find Sara and Sam working together. With ten years of cumulative experience, they have had the opportunity to train and work with over a thousand dogs. Their training experience ranges from some of the largest breeds to the smallest, both with and without major behavioral issues. They are passionate about helping owners better understand their dog’s behavior and needs in a way that is easy to understand.
Sara’s love for dogs began at an early age. She has over ten years of professional experience working with dogs in various settings in addition to training, including a veterinary office and boarding & daycare facility. While she enjoys working with all dogs, but has a soft spot for herding breeds. Her favorite part of training is helping dogs build enthusiasm and a love for working and showing owners how to have fun with their dog’s training.
Sam developed a passion for training people at an early age as an athlete and coach. He took an interest in dog training and applied these skills professionally after learning how to train his rescue dog, Rufus, who struggled with severe reactivity. Sam particularly enjoys behavioral and aggression cases and being able to help these dogs and their owners find confidence and clarity in their surroundings.
