Customized Training For You and Your Dog

Dogs require exposure during training in order to build consistency and reliability with their obedience. We find this to be one of the biggest challenges with trying to do everything yourself at home. With our board & train program, your dog will benefit from training in a home environment as well as public and realistic environments. We aim to develop a dog who is obedient and confident and whose training can translate to anyone, anywhere.

At the end of the board & train program, your dog will have learned better social skills towards people, dogs, and their environment. You will see improvements in your dog’s specific issues and overall obedience. Before your dog goes home, you will receive a private training session to ensure you, as the owner, leave with the proper tools and knowledge to set your dog up for success.

Our Board & Train program is a convenient option for owners and dogs from outside the Gallatin Valley. We are happy to work with you whether you’re in Billings, Missoula, Helena, Bozeman or somewhere in between.

Training for all of your adventures together!

When learning new habits and behaviors, dogs need consistency. Our board & train program is an immersive style training program for dogs ages five months and up. This program will give your dog the structure and consistency with their training to succeed.

We tailor each dog’s training depending on their needs and motivators. Our Board & Train Focuses on, but is not limited to:

Foundational Obedience Commands

We will teach your dog all of the foundational obedience commands and concepts, including: Come, Sit, Down, Place, Heel, Loose-Leash Walking, and Off. These commands are taught with an implied stay, meaning your dog will hold their command until you release them. Our program also focuses on training in various environments so that your dog is consistent with these commands, even around distractions!

Behavior Modification Training

We will help you and your anxious, reactive, or aggressive dog find confidence around people and/or dogs. Your dog's training program will be customized to work on its individual triggers. We will focus on building you dog's confidence while also developing successful management strategies that you can implement with them.

On & Off Leash Obedience Skills

Give your dog off-leash freedom on all your adventures with the peace of mind of reliable obedience with e-collar training! All the skills and concepts we teach in this program are done so with off-leash reliability in mind. Our goal is always to give you as many methods of communication as possible so that you can successfully communicate with your dog, both on and off-leash!

How It Works

Where Will My Dog Stay During Training?

Our Board & Train program is an immersive style of dog training. Your dog will board and train with one of our professional trainers in their personal home. This style of dog training allows us to teach skills in a way that translates seamlessly into your home environment.

What Enviroments Will My Dog Train In?

We will help your dog learn reliable on and off-leash obedience in and out of the home. Your dog will be trained in real-world environments, including stores, parks, and town settings. Our board and train program provides training around the types of distractions and stimulation your dog will experience to ensure the structure and obedience we teach translates directly to your real life. 

How Will I Learn How To Work With My Dog?

During the training, you will receive a daily report and video to stay informed on your dog’s progress and well being. This type of training is ideal for an owner and dog pair that aren’t located in the immediate Bozeman area as you will only need to come to us for drop-off and pick-up. We have worked with dogs from all over the state, including but not limited to Helena, Missoula, and Billings, for example.

Once training is over, we will spend 2-3 hours reviewing what your dog has learned during their board and train program. This owner training session will include the following:
